U.S. Air Force celebrates 73rd birthday with special event at National Museum of U.S. Air Force

RIVERSIDE — The National Museum of the US Air Force will hold a special celebration today for the Air Force’s 73rd birthday.

The museum will also commemorate POW/MIA Recognition Day. The special commemoration begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 3:30 pm. this afternoon.

Throughout the museum, Air Force veterans will also host ‘Plane Talks’, which offers visitors a unique way to learn about aircraft stationed in the museum.

General admission and parking for the event are free to the public.
