Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched just before 8 p.m. to the Neff Road address on a report of a vehicle into a house.

They arrived to find a white Chevrolet Suburban, which had caused significant damage to the structure. The driver reportedly ran but was captured by a citizen, who was not identified by name.

According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle was headed south on I-75, on the exit ramp to Keats Drive, when it left the road. It continued across the lawn at the Neff Road address and slammed into the home, which was occupied.

No injuries were reported, according to the sheriff’s office.

The driver has been booked into the county jail on a charge of operating a vehicle intoxicated.
