Report of person in water prompts search of Sevenmile Creek in Butler County

HAMILTON — Butler County fire/rescue teams have put boats in Sevenmile Creek, searching for a person believed to be in the water.

The call for boats was made about 10:15 p.m.

The search is believed to be occurring in the area of the water behind New Miami High School, in the 600 block of 7 Mile Avenue.
