1 wounded in Jefferson Twp. shooting; Deputies seize car for evidence

JEFFERSON TWP. — UPDATE @ 10:45 p.m.: A black sedan, with what appears to be blood on it, has been seized by sheriff’s deputies investigating the shooting that sent a male to a hospital.

UPDATE @ 10 p.m.:

A male has been taken to a hospital from the shooting believed to have occurred in the area of Hanover and Fiske avenues, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s sergeant said.

The victim is believed to be in stable condition, the sergeant said, noting very little is known about what happened because it’s very early in the investigation.

INITIAL REPORT

A shooting has been reported in the area of Hanover and Fiske avenues and police are investigating.

The incident was reported just after 9 p.m. and Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies reportedly were already on scene, according to county regional dispatch.
