“People are inundated with coronavirus coverage and that’s why it’s important to keep doing entertainment news,” said Nischelle Turner, ET anchor.

News Center 7 talked with Turner yesterday who was in her kitchen and working from home just like many others in the nation during this time.

“We said we gotta be there for our viewers,” she said.

“We still want to bring them, you know, the celebrity news that they want to hear, and there’s also a lot happening with everybody in Hollywood right now too, so we still want to keep updated on that. So, we decided okay, we’re going to embrace this self-isolating, social distancing. We’re going to figure out how to broadcast from our homes.”

ET, a staple on Channel 7 for many years, starts at 7:30 p.m.
