— The Pine Club may be famous for its bone-in ribeye.
But this weekend, its burgers will be the star of the show.
A special event part of the 2019 Designers’ Show House and Gardens will feature Pine Club hamburgers, Ashley’s Pastry Shop hamburger buns, Company 7 Saratoga Chips, homemade baked beans, creamy cole slaw, Dorothy Lane's Killer Brownies with wine, beer and soft drinks to wash it all down with.
The Pine Club Burger Party is planned for Sunday, May 18.
Tour the show house and gardens at "The Leland House”, owned by David and Barbette Spitler, then enjoy a full menu highlighted by the top billed Pine Club hamburgers and music from Corky’s Old Time Rock & Roll Band.
This certainly has to be the most delicious tour option available if you love some of the most iconic foods of Dayton and crave interior design experiences. .
This year’s show house, a Grand Tudor home built in the 1920’s by George Leland that is adjacent to Wegerzyn Garden, is particularly significant since this is the 40th year that these biennial events have been presented.
Tickets are $50. The ticket includes the house tour which normally costs $25. The registration deadline is May 16, so be sure to book your ticket if you are interested.
