EVARTS, Ky. — Pro wrestling star Kane is known for his chokeslam finishing hold, a move that requires strength.
In a recent visit to Kentucky, the WWE star offered strength and comfort to one of his biggest fans, who is battling brain cancer, WYMT reported.
Glenn Jacobs, who wrestles under the name Kane, visited T.J. Brewer in Harlan County. It was a gesture that was appreciated by Brewer’s brother, Chris Brewer, who watched Kane wrestle when they were children.
“We obviously flocked to Kane and Undertaker because on the storyline they were brothers,” Chris Brewer told WYMT.
T.J. Brewer has been diagnosed with cancer five times over the past 12 years, WYMT reported. Doctors had given him only days to live at one point, but T.J. continues to show strength, his brother said.
“He was given three months to live he was in Stage 4 (which is) very aggressive and he just kept battling and he used that as like a rallying cry,” Chris Brewer told WYMT.
T.J. Brewer was inspired to start a ministry and share his strength with community members. The response has been positive, Chris Brewer said.
“We've had about 500 visitors, everybody in this community,” he said.
And outsiders like Kane, too.

— Prince Harry reportedly called his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy ahead of his royal wedding to Meghan Markle last week.
According to Vanity Fair, Davy was invited to the royal wedding but learned she wasn’t invited to the evening reception.
A family friend told Vanity Fair that Harry called Davy out of courtesy and they shared a “tearful phone call.”
“It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on,” the source told Vanity Fair. “Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding. In the end, she went and promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gate-crash the party.”
Harry and Davy dated for seven years, from 2004 to 2011, PEOPLE reports.
Before their split, it was rumored that Davy was uncomfortable with being in the spotlight.
The pair are reportedly still friendly and have several mutual friends.
Davy, 32, was born in Zimbabwe. Her father, Charles Davy, is a safari farmer and her mother, Beverly Donald Davy, is a former Coca-Cola model and was Miss Rhodesia 1973, according to Elle Magazine.
Davy studied economics and earned a law degree in 2009. She launched her own jewelry brand, Aya, in 2016.
Davy wasn’t the only ex-girlfriend at the wedding.
Harry also invited Cressida Bonas, who he dated from 2012 to 2014.

According to the Guardian, a beagle named Guy was in a Kentucky kill shelter until Ontario-based A Dog's Dream Rescue saved him and offered him for adoption at a 2015 event in Canada. That's where he met his new owner, Markle, who went on to marry Britain's Prince Harry on Saturday.
A royal spokesman told the Guardian in November that Guy had moved to England with Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex.
WLKY reported Saturday that Guy has even been seen riding in the car with Queen Elizabeth II.

“It’s just beyond my wildest imagination,” A Dog's Dream Rescue founder Dolores Doherty told the Guardian. “How is that for a rags-to-riches story from a good old Kentucky beagle?”

WINDSOR, England — Bride Meghan Markle wasn't the only one turning heads at Saturday's royal wedding.
Many fans of the royals said Lady Kitty Spencer, niece of the late Princess Diana and daughter of Earl Charles Spencer, Diana's brother, looked just like her famous aunt.
According to the New York Daily News, the 27-year-old model wore a forest green Dolce & Gabbana dress with a matching hat and veil.
Here's what people were saying:
The one that caught my attention during the #RoyalWedding was none other than Lady Kitty Spencer, the niece of Princess Diana. Pretty just like her aunt. I mean, she resembles her very much 😍. I'm dying....— Aaira (@AaliaBestari) May 19, 2018

— Based on early reports, the Gem City plays an important role in a Stephen King book that dives “into the mind of evil.”

The author who dazzled a sold-out Victoria Theatre crowd here in August 2016 makes Dayton a key setting of his new book “The Outsider (Scribner, $30),” according to an article from Rob Merrill of the Associated Press.
The crime/horror at first centers around Detective Ralph Anderson’s arrest of Little League coach Terry Maitland in Flint City, Okla.
According to Merrill, there is “a mountain of evidence that he (Maitland) murdered — maybe even ate? — an 11-year-old boy in a town park.”
The coach denies committing the crime, and there is evidence that things are not exactly as they seem.
He was at a conference during the murder and can even be seen on a videotape.
Holly Gibney, a character featured in King’s Bill Hodges Trilogy (“Mr. Mercedes,” ″Finders Keepers and ″End of Watch”) makes her way into what Merrill calls the “real heart” of the book that’s said to travel inside the mind of evil.
“She (Gibney) gets called in to check out a lead in Dayton, Ohio, and the stage is set for the rest of the novel — a clash between the Skeptics and the Believers. Holly carries the torch for the latter group, having gained some perspective on the matter thanks to the horrific crimes of Brady Hartsfield in that aforementioned trilogy.”
The cultures of Mexico and Texas also play a vital part of the book, according to a New York Times review.
Color us intrigued and already terrified.
