Two other Shondaland shows on the network’s TGIT lineup -- “Grey’s” firefighter spinoff “Station 19” and “How to Get Away With Murder” -- are also returning for seasons three and six, respectively. Rhimes’ other ABC show, “For the People,” was canceled after two seasons.

Deadline reported that the renewal means “Grey’s” will continue its run as the longest-running prime-time medical drama in TV history. It surpassed “ER” with its 332nd episode in its current and 15th season.

In addition to Pompeo, “Grey’s Anatomy” stars Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, Jesse Williams, Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington, Kelly McCreary, Kim Raver and Giacomo Gianniotti. Rhimes executive produces the show.

Rhimes also executive produces “How to Get Away With Murder,” which stars Viola Davis, Billy Brown, Aja Naomi King, Amirah Vann, Jack Falahee, Charlie Weber, Matt McGorry, Liza Weil, Conrad Ricamora, Rome Flynn and Timothy Hutton.

The season 15 finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” airs May 16 at 8 p.m.
