— It is not every day a member of the Jackson 5 strolls into your music shop and walks out the door with a guitar.
Jim Hauer of Hauer Music, 528 Miamisburg Centerville Road in Centerville, now knows that more than most.
Jermaine Jackson, the fourth-born in the iconic musical family that also includes Michael and Janet Jackson, stopped by the music shop Wednesday and bought a 12-string guitar for his tour.
The music shop posted about the experience:
“Jermaine Jackson- legendary Jackson 5- stopped by and purchased a beautiful 12-string guitar for his tour. It is hard to believe it has been nine years since Michael's passing. Jermaine and his brothers are going strong and touring the US; next stop Detroit.
By the way, the huge rock on his hand was a special made ring to commemorate the Jackson 5 50th anniversary. Jermaine now lives in Nice, France. We do ship to France and other parts of the world.”
Jackson was heading to Detroit for a show, according to a woman who answered the phone at the store Thursday.
Jermaine Jackson is scheduled to perform Saturday with The Jacksons as part of a free outdoor Detroit Music Weekend concert celebrating the music of the Jackson 5.

— Beyonce and Jay-Z appeared to have a sequel to their successful 2014 “On the Run” tour Monday, but not before the date was removed.
Variety reported that a date for the “On the Run 2” tour was announced on Beyonce’s Facebook and Ticketmaster pages for one date on July 30. The posts with the date for the performance, which was to be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, were quickly pulled. The date also appeared on Jay-Z’s Facebook page.
Complex reported that there were three listings for the date on Beyonce’s fan page.
The BeyHive quickly became excited, with some speculating that the long-rumored collaboration album between the singer and rapper was coming.
On Friday, Us Weekly reported that the two could be announcing a joint album and world tour, citing a Feb. 28 report from Italian newspaper Il Giorno.

LOS ANGELES — Nearly three years after her exit was announced, TV personality Giuliana Rancic is returning to E! News as a co-host.
E! Entertainment announced Friday that Rancic will co-host the weeknight show with Jason Kennedy this fall. Yahoo! Entertainment reported that she last co-anchored from 2005 to 2015. She first appeared on E! in 2002 when she was a correspondent at E! News.
Variety reported that Rancic has made other appearances on the network since exiting E! News, hosting “E! Live From the Red Carpet” and other special events, like the network’s coverage of the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“Returning to host ‘E! News’ is every bit as thrilling to me today as it was 16 years ago when I joined the show and embarked on this wonderful career,” Rancic said in a statement. “Co-hosting alongside one of my best friends, Jason Kennedy, with one of the most talented teams in entertainment journalism, makes this move even more special. I can’t wait to reconnect with the ‘E! News’ audience and go on this journey together once again.”
During the time Rancic was no longer hosting the weeknight show, Maria Menounos stepped in as co-host. She left in July 2017 after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which has since been surgically removed.
Catt Sadler was a co-host on “E! News,” but left in December because of what she said was a “massive disparity in pay” between herself and Kennedy.

Kate Spade died by suicide June 5 in New York at age 55.
People confirmed the news of the donation.
“More people suffer from mental health issues than we may realize but no one should ever feel ashamed to reach out for support,” People quoted Spade as saying.
