A physical therapy chain is planning a new location in Troy.
Drayer Physical Therapy Institute filed a building permit seeking to open at 2355 W. Main St.
Jen Crosby, regional account manager with Drayer, said the new office will be the seventh Drayer location in the Dayton area and will open by the end of August.
There will be three to four people initially working out of the office.
Drayer, an outpatient physical therapy company, started in 2002. Drayer is part of Upstream Rehab Network, which owns a portfolio of 16 physical therapy chains with 650 locations.
There are 19 Drayer locations in Ohio, with local offices in Beavercreek, Centerville, Dayton, Springboro, Huber Heights and Sugarcreek Twp.
The Huber Heights office is Drayer’s most recent location in the Dayton area and opened in September at 7819 Waynetowne Blvd.
According to a building permit filed with Miami County, the Troy location will be 1,660 square feet and the renovation will cost about $95,000. The project is listed as contracted to Bruns General Contracting.
