— Dayton has had a taste of the bubble tea or boba tea craze in recent years and Wednesday, the first official bubble tea shop opened for business.
Blossom Juicy Bar is now open at 2801 S. Dixie Drive in Dayton. The shop said it serves delicious bubble teas, oolong tea, health drinks and more — all made with high quality fresh ingredients.
Chen Ye, owner of Blossom, said customers can receive 10% off if they share Blossom’s Facebook post announcing its opening. All you need to do is show your Facebook post to the Blossom cashier to receive the discount. The deal will last for about two weeks, Ye said.
Ye moved from China to Oakwood with her family 10 years ago, and has dreamed of opening her own shop since she was a little girl. Her family is extremely supportive of this next adventure, she said.
Blossom is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
