Recalls: Fitness equipment, grills, ceiling lights and more

DAYTON — Fitness buffs, grill masters and Boy Scouts are among the people who need to check to see if they have some of the latest recalled products announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Provata activity fitness trackers are being recalled because they can overheat. Three people have reported being burned on the wrist.

The wristbands were part of a promotional giveaway.

Don’t wear them and contact Provata Health at 888-343-9820 to receive a free replacement.

Some PowerMill climbers by Life Fitness are under recall because they can catch on fire if they get wet.

There are eight reports of them smoking, sparking and catching on fire, but no one has been hurt.

Stop using recalled climber models PMA, PFB, PFD, PMH and PFH manufactured between 2014 and 2018.

Six reports of grease fires are the reason some Traeger Grills are under recall.

No one has been hurt, but don’t use the Scout and Ranger portable wood-pellet fueled grills. Contact Traeger Grills at 800-872-3427 to receive a free replacement or a full refund.

Over 100,000 Boy Scout neckerchief slides are being recalled because the enamel on them contains toxic lead in levels exceeding federal safety standards.

The recalled brass slides featured a red wolf, a green bear, an orange lion or a blue Webelos symbol and have the P.O. numbers 200228276, 20023175 or 200236630 on the label.

Don’t use the neckerchief slides and contact the Boy Scouts of America at 800-323-0736.

IKEA is recalling CALYPSO Ceiling lamps because the glass shade can fall off of the base. Three people have reportedly received minor injuries.

The recalled lamps have the manufacturing date codes between 1625 and 1744.

Don’t use the product and return it to IKEA for a full refund or call 888-966-4532.

Some adult tricycles are being recalled because the right hand wheel hub mount may bend or break and cause you to crash.

No injuries have been reported but don’t ride on the TerraTrike Rambler x16, the Rambler All Terrain or the Rambler E.V.O. models.

Don’t ride the trikes and contact TerraTrike at 800-945-9110 or take them to the purchase location for a free repair.

CFORCE ATVs are under recall because the fuel hose may crack, leak fuel and cause a fire.

The recalled ATVs have 400cc to 500cc, four-cycle engines in the following years and models:

  • 2016-2018 CFORCE 400
  • 2017-2018 CFORCE 500S
  • 2017-2018 CFORCE 500HO ATVs

Cream by Desert Harvest is under recall because the bottles aren’t child resistant.

The recalled Releveum skin repair cream is sold in four and eight ounce bottles and has the date code D02N5.
