Born and raised in West Chester, Ohio, I feel there's nothing like covering news near home in the Miami Valley.

After graduating from Lakota East High School, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a minor in Radio/Television from Northern Kentucky University.

My real education in broadcast journalism began days after graduation with my first anchor/reporter position for KWCH-TV in Wichita, Kansas.

After earning four Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards, I gladly accepted a position at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. This was an easy decision considering my step-father spent nearly 40 years at WCPO as a photographer.

I covered the Tri-State news at WCPO-TV for nearly 7 years as a reporter and anchor before joining the team here at WHIO-TV.

It’s an honor and pleasure to anchor News Center 7 ‘s Daybreak Edition from 5-7 a.m. weekdays.
