A cold front will move into the region late Wednesday night, and slowly cross the Miami Valley on Thursday. This will bring an increased threat for showers and thunderstorms.

With the higher humidity returning, some of the showers and storms could produce locally heavy rainfall on Thursday.

The front will stall across the southern half of Ohio Friday as low pressure moves along the front.

This will keep the threat for some showers and storms into Friday before the front finally moves off to the south late in the day.

Cooler weather with mostly sunny skies will be back in the forecast for the weekend.
