WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Fall-like temperatures; highs in the 70s

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — A weather pattern change has occurred overnight allowing for fall-like temperatures to push into the Miami Valley, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Temperatures will start in the upper 50s this morning and climb into the upper 70s this afternoon with noticeably less humidity.

After some sunshine to start the day, some cloud cover will build during the afternoon.

Clouds will thin out again tonight as temperatures drop into the middle 50s by Thursday morning.

A quiet and comfortable end to the week and coming weekend is expected with mostly sunny skies during the day and mostly clear skies at night.

Overnight lows will drop back into the lower 50s with highs in the lower to middle 70s Thursday through Sunday.

The next chance for rain is not expected until early next week.
