— WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—It is another bitter cold start with temperatures hovering near zero this morning, said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

There will be more clouds around through the day with high temperatures only making it back into the upper teens. With more clouds around, it won't be quite as cold tonight but temperatures will still fall into the lower teens.

Much of Friday will be dry but cloudy. However, snow is expected to develop by late evening and continue into Friday night. Snow showers will linger into Saturday with accumulations of around 1 to 2 inches expected. After rebounding into the 20s Friday, temperatures will drop back into the teens for highs through the New Year's weekend.
