Clouds increase tonight, rain returns Sunday

Clouds will increase tonight and into the overnight hours. It will be mild with overnight lows in the middle 60s, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

DETAILED FORECAST

Sunday: Showers are expected. The rain looks to move in after sunrise and stick around through the afternoon. There could be a few storms embedded in the rain, but it looks like the majority of the storms will be to the east.. However, some downpours with lighting and thunder can't be ruled out. There will be gusty winds throughout the day, as high as 30 mph. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s early, then will fall through the 60s during the afternoon. It should dry out Sunday evening.

Monday: Cooler weather filters in with highs in the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday: Sunshine returns with highs in the middle 60s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies are expected with highs in the upper 60s.

Thursday: Temperatures will be close to 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Friday: It will stay dry and sunny with highs in the lower 70s.
