Pop-up shower possible for morning commute

Clouds will increase overnight with some pop-up showers possible by the Wednesday morning commute, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Wednesday: Expect a chance for passing showers or storms, mainly in the morning with a slight chance of showers lingering in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 70s. 

Thursday: Lots of sunshine is in the forecast with pleasantly warm temperatures in the middle 70s.

Friday: Expect clouds to increase with a chance for showers or thunderstorms. Highs will reach to near 80 degrees.

Saturday: Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with occasional showers and storms. Highs will hold to near 80 degrees.

Sunday: Expect mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms, especially the first half of the day. Highs will drop into the upper 70s.
