Unseasonably warm weather returns for weekend

DETAILED FORECAST

Clearing skies will continue as winds diminish overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Temperatures will fall back to near 40 degrees. Some patchy fog will be possible late.

Friday: Skies will become mostly sunny. A pleasant late fall afternoon is expected with highs in the lower 60s.

Saturday: The day will start with lots of sunshine with some increase in clouds late. It will become quite breezy by afternoon. High temperatures will soar well above normal, in the middle 70s.

Sunday: Expect lots of clouds and mild, breezy conditions. There will be the chance for a passing shower with highs in the upper 60s.

Monday: Partly sunny skies will start the workweek with unseasonably mild air remaining. Highs will stay in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures are expected with highs back in the middle 70s.
