Skies clear overnight, storms return for the weekend

Skies will become mostly clear overnight as temperatures fall into the middle 50s, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

THURSDAY: Expect mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the middle 70s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies are expected with some increase in clouds late. There is a chance for a shower or storm, mainly at night. Highs will be near 80 degrees.

SATURDAY: Expect a mix of sun and clouds and a chance for pop-up showers and storms. Highs will reach into the lower 80s.

SUNDAY: Skies will be mostly cloudy with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

MONDAY: Clouds and showers will linger with highs cooler, in the middle 70s.
