More rain arrives, will linger next few days

Occasional showers will remain possible through the overnight hours, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Temperatures will drop into the middle 50s.

Friday: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with showers possible through at least the first half of the day. Showers should diminish by late afternoon into the early evening, although may redevelop Friday night. Temperatures are expected to climb back into the upper 60s for highs.

Saturday: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with occasional showers still around. Rain will begin to taper off toward evening. Highs will hold in the middle to upper 60s.

Sunday: Lots of clouds will be around with at least some sunshine. There is a slight chance for a passing shower, mainly late in the afternoon. Highs will climb to near 70 degrees.

Monday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds, but dry conditions. Highs will top out in the lower 70s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures are expected with highs in the middle 70s.
