News Center 7 Reporter

I joined WHIO News Team in August 2011.

It is an honor to work for the #1 station, WHIO, doing what I love best! Plus, I get to be near my fiancé! Essentially, News Center 7 brings me "home."

I am a graduate of the University of Virginia. I started my news career in radio as a weekend news anchor at WRVA in Richmond, VA. My first television job was a "split-shift" as a traffic reporter for WPBF, an ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach.

I come to the Miami Valley from the Shenandoah Valley. I worked at WHSV, an ABC affiliate in Harrisonburg, VA. I produced and co-anchored WHSV Daybreak, awarded Virginia's Best Morning Show in 2010. Also at WHSV, I covered politics, including the presidential election in 2008. I had a political segment where I had the opportunity to exclusively interview dozens of lawmakers, asking them questions that mattered to viewers.

I've been told, "get ready for snow!" Between you and me... I'm not exactly a fan of snow but I love severe weather coverage! So, bring it on! I'm ready!

I'm a huge news junkie, addicted to social media. I'd love to hear from you, especially story ideas and restaurant recommendations!
