I just joined the WHIO team recently. Born and raised in the Midwest, I graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota (where I met my wife), before moving on to my first radio job as a news anchor/producer at News Radio 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Growing up as a kid, listening to the Brewers, Bucks and Packers on WTMJ, it was extremely cool getting hired at the station, and an honor to start my radio career there.
After two years at WTMJ, I was hired as a news anchor at News Talk WOKV in Jacksonville, Florida. Eventually I became a co-anchor on Jacksonville’s Morning News, and then later assistant news director. I have covered major political conventions, tropical storms and much more while working for WOKV. I have also done reporting for Sirius XM NFL and the Jaguars radio network.
After more than six years in Jacksonville, I am now working here in Dayton, and excited about what the future holds for me in this city! I am excited to get to see the leaves change again, after living in Florida for some time (sorry, palm trees). I am also excited for my kids to get the chance to play in the snow.
