I came a long way to continue my career in radio, moving from Portland, ME to Dayton, OH. It has been a wonderful experience, meeting new people and experiencing a different part of the country. Most importantly, I get to do something I truly enjoy for a living. I get to be on the radio 5 nights a week. It's been a blast covering news in Dayton and working with an amazing group of people.
I got my start in Radio at the New England School of Communications in Bangor, ME and graduated in 2006. From there I moved on to several part time jobs in radio, including 100.3 WKIT in Bangor, which is owned by Stephen King. I never got to meet him, but I heard he's kind of strange, and I believe it. Finally, in 2009 I got my first full time gig, WGAN in Portland, ME. I did morning news and traffic for the FMs, and mid-day news on GAN. I don't miss getting up at 3am, but I'll always remember that job as the one that got my radio career headed in the right direction.
So here I am, in Dayton, OH. I encourage everyone to tune in and listen weeknights from 6:30 to 11:30. My producer Brendyn and I are having fun, and working hard to put together the best local news coverage possible. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
