Carrie Ann has been with News Center 7 since 2009. As Team Leader, she coordinates the efforts of the StormCenter7 Meteorologists in their work for TV, Radio, Newspapers, the Web and WHIO's News and Weather Apps.
Where were you born? Corpus Christi, TX
Where did you grow up? I was an army brat so we moved every couple years. Locally, I lived in Beavercreek for two years in elementary school and Preble County for a couple years in both middle and high school
What was your favorite TV show then? Boy Meets World
What was the first thing you ever wanted to be? An Elephant Trainer
How might someone have described you in high school? Friendly
Were you involved in any high school sports? Soccer!
What was your first journalism job? I hosted a documentary about teen girls when I was 14 years old.
What do you like about your job? Every day is a new adventure with new challenges.
What don't you like about your job? The length of time that it takes me away from my husband and two sons.
If not working, what could someone find you doing on a weekend on your time off? During football season, you would find me watching a game--- any game, with my husband and boys. For the most part I just enjoy relaxing with my family and friends.
What might people be surprised to know about you? I have a hearing deficiency and rely heavily on reading lips.
What would be a perfect day for you? A warm and sunny day on a boat with my family and as much diet coke as I want.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Meteorologist? Study the facts and ask a lot of questions. Stay focused and determined. A LOT of hard work and dedication will pay off.
Favorite book: I pretty much only ready text books--- even just for fun!

Favorite hobby: Going to sporting events, primarily football games!
