Boys basketball

Meadowdale 46, Bellbrook 44: Jamie Burns led the Lions (11-12) with 12 points in this D-II sectional. Austin Hall led Bellbrook with 11 points. Meadowdale will play Thurgood Marshall on Tuesday at Trent Arena.

 

Girls basketball

Miamisburg 49, Wayne 47: The Vikings, led by Ellie Collins and Emily Leonard with 11 points each, edged the Warriors in this D-I sectional. Miamisburg will play Centerville on Saturday at Troy.

Centerville 84, Springfield 14: Shannon Coffee scored 20 points and Alex Hennin added 13 for the Elks in this D-I sectional.

Clinton-Massie 56, Thurgood 42: Kasey Uetrecht had 23 points with 14 rebounds to lead the Falcons in this D-II sectional. Clinton-Massie will play Alter on Saturday at Springboro.

Greeneview 78, C.H.C.A. 38: The Rams (23-1) had little trouble in this D-III sectional. Sophie Sonneman led the way with 25 points with 10 rebounds and Ashton Lovely had 19 points with 11 assists. Greeneview will play Fayetteville on Saturday at Wilmington.

Preble Shawnee 57, Cin. Christian 49: Courtney Lakes paced the Arrows with 21 points and Adrianna Moore added 20 in this D-III sectional. Preble Shawnee will play Badin on Saturday at Edgewood.

Triad 58, Jackson Center 40: The Cardinals, led by Faith Orecchio’s 20 points, won easily in this D-IV sectional. Triad will play Fort Loramie on Saturday at Sidney.

Fort Loramie 90, Ansonia 20: Darian Rose led the Redskins with 25 points in this D-IV sectional.
