The Dayton Flyers received their first verbal commitment from a member of the 2017 recruiting class Saturday night.
Jordan Davis, a 6-foot-4 senior shooting guard from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., committed to Dayton on the same day he visited campus, according to a source.
The Flyers have four more scholarships open in 2017. Davis, a three-star recruiting according to Rivals.com, was also considering Butler and Kansas State.
