The new raw bar in the Oregon District had its soft opening, and we can’t wait to try it

This news is sure to get your mouth watering. 

Jack Lukey’s Oyster Saloon & Caviar Bar, a seafood market, hosted a soft opening this weekend. The business is located in the Dietz Block building in the 500 block of Wayne Avenue, which currently houses Crafted & Cured, a craft beer and specialty meats shop.

The partnership, city officials and private developers have been working to extend the Oregon District’s retail and entertainment presence to Wayne Avenue.

The Dietz Block building, next door to Wheat Penny Oven and Bar, was built in 1886. Years ago, the space housed Norman Miller & Sons Interiors.
