Critically missing West Chester man found

WEST CHESTER TWP. — UPDATE @ 7:16 a.m. (Oct. 1)

A missing West Chester man has been found after he was reported missing Friday afternoon, according to dispatchers.

Police found Samuel Grubbs, 89, of West Chester around 6 a.m. Saturday morning in his car parked outside of a home in the 6800 block of Socialville-Foster Road in West Chester Twp.

Initial reports indicate Grubbs had possibly been in the car overnight and had cut himself from falling on trailer in the yard.

Police need help finding a missing 89-year-old West Chester Twp. man.

Samuel Grubbs was last spoken to at 2 p.m. Friday before he left his home in a silver 2011 Ford Ranger pickup truck with Ohio license plate 266XZA, according to police.

Grubbs has been diagnosed with dementia and is without his medication, police said. Anyone with information is urged to call West Chester police at 513-777-2231.
