Rain, few storms return to area tonight

This evening, skies will be mostly cloudy with unseasonably mild temperatures. It will be breezy at times. There is a slight chance for a passing shower but most will remain dry. Temperatures will be mainly in the 60s.

DETAILED FORECAST

Tonight: Expect clouds to thicken with a chance for showers and even a few thunderstorms possible after midnight. Temperatures will drop back into the lower 50s by morning.

Friday: Expect some pre-dawn showers with some gusty winds. Skies will clear into the afternoon with temperatures slowly dropping from an early high around 60 degrees.

Saturday: The day will start with some sunshine but clouds will thicken into the afternoon. There will be the chance for some developing showers. Highs will be in the lower 60s.

Sunday: It will be breezy and unseasonably warm as high temperatures are expected to top 70 degrees. Expect a chance for showers in the afternoon with an increased threat for rain and even a few thunderstorms by late evening.

Monday: Rain and a few thunderstorms are possible early in the morning with clouds lingering into the afternoon. Some showers may redevelop toward evening. It will be breezy and cooler with early high temperatures in the lower 60s but falling into the 50s.

Tuesday: Expect mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. Temperatures will be cooler, holding in the lower 50s. There will be the chance for some showers, especially south of I-70.
