Venus and Mars visible this week

Another fun line up of visible planets will come together this week, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

The waning crescent moon will move closer to the two planets overnight before sunrise Oct. 16-18. On Oct. 16, the moon will be above the two planets.

On Oct. 17, about an hour before before sunrise, look east, where you will see Mars, then the moon and Venus all very close together in a line.
