Storms Saturday bring wind, heavy rain, chance for snow

It will be breezy overnight with off and on rain. A few thunderstorms also will be possible, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will slowly rise into the 50s. A wind advisory goes into effect from noon to 4 a.m. Sunday.

DETAILED FORECAST

Saturday: A wind advisory goes into effect at noon. A few strong thunderstorms are possible midday to early afternoon. Gusty winds will increase through the late afternoon and into the evening and may gust between 40 and 50 mph. Highs will be in the upper 50s midday and then fall through the 40s and into the 30s by late evening. Rain may mix with or change to some snow showers before ending.

Sunday: Gusty winds will diminish but it will remain blustery and chilly. Some scattered flurries will linger through midday. Temperatures will only reach into the upper 30s for highs.

Monday: Expect partly cloudy skies and calmer conditions. Temperatures will rebound into the middle 40s.

Tuesday: Expect increasing clouds by late in the day and breezy conditions. Temperatures will reach into the upper 40s by midday and then begin to fall. Some sprinkles or flurries will be possible at night. 

Wednesday: It will be breezy and colder with partly cludy skies. Highs will only reach into the upper 30s. 

Thanksgiving: Partly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures are expected with highs in the upper 30s.
