The weather forecast for this weekend is looking pretty amazing. The second half of the day today and the weekend should see spectacular weather, as a cold front settles to the south bringing with it high pressure and lower humidity, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.
Before the afternoon arrives some areas could see thickening fog, which could create some travel issues this morning.
Today will start with some possible fog and showers, but clouds will give way to sun as highs rise into the low 80s.
Tonight will see clear and comfortable conditions, Vrydaghs said. "[It's] a nice night to open the windows and let the fresh air inside," she said. Lows tonight will settle in the upper 50s.
Saturday will see sunny conditions with low humidity and seasonable temperatures in the low 80s. The UV index will be around 8 all weekend, so sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested if you plan to venture outdoors, Vrydaghs said.
Sunday will be the warmer day of the weekend with sunny conditions and highs in the mid 80s.
