Warming trend gets underway this weekend

Clouds will break with chilly temperatures hovering in the middle 20s by morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Saturday: Lot of sunshine returns to start the weekend with a few passing clouds. It will be breezy but not as cold as highs rebound into the middle 40s.

Sunday: Clouds will increase with rain showers developing late in the day and continuing into the evening. Temperatures will hold in the lower 40s.

Monday: Skies will remain cloudy with a slight chance for a few sprinkles, drizzle or a passing shower. Highs will be in the middle 40s.

Tuesday: A windy day is in the forecast with partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be unseasonably warm, topping out near 50 degrees.

Wednesday: Clouds will be on the increase. There is a chance for a few showers or possibly a rain/snow mix by evening, mainly south. Highs will be near 40 degrees.
