WATCH: Would-be burglar knocks himself out

CLEVELAND — A liquor store burglary took a turn when one of the thieves hit his head on the counter and knocked himself out.

The 10-second surveillance footage from the Leprechaun Liquor Store in Akron shows two men kicking in the store door. Later in the video, while the men are leaving the store, one falls over the counter, knocking himself out cold.

The burglar stays face-down on the floor until his partner comes back and drags him out of the building, into a waiting car.

The owner of the store says the break-in was one of several over the past few weeks.
