Stuck semi stops CSX train in Dayton

A CSX train had to make an emergency stop this afternoon when a semitrailer got stuck at the railroad crossing on Chapel Street in Dayton.

There were no injuries reported when the incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m.

Police said the truck was making a turn when the tires got stuck in the tracks.

Sandy’s Towing responded to the scene. The cab was disconnected from the trailer, realigned and reconnected to remove it from the tracks.

The driver was not cited.
