The City of Bloomington, Ind. has changed regulations for e-cigarettes.

The Common Council voted to add vaping to its smoking ordinance, which means if you can’t light up a cigarette, you can’t vape either.

“The public has a right to clean air. There’s nothing wrong with vaping, and people can do that. But when it’s in the public realm, they have to respect other people’s right to breathe period,” said Chris Sturbaum who is on the council.

Others in town are say they’re skeptical about the need for this measure.

“I think its way less of a health concern than regular smokers. I feel like I’m not breathing the air as much as second hand smoke would be from cigarettes,” said resident Danny Miecuna.
