Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Springfield crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured and a Springfield intersection is closed after a crash this afternoon.

Police are investigating where a car and motorcycle collided at Bellevue and Hillside avenues.

The motorcyclist was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center and is now being flown from there by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital.

It’s not clear at this point who was at fault.

The car’s occupants were not hurt. The intersection remained closed to traffic at 2:30 p.m.
