High pressure means dry conditions this week

Temperatures are staying below average as we head into the evening with a few clouds and breezy conditions.

StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Carriann Marit said winds will calm down overnight as temps drop into the upper 30s.

“We’ll have another chilly start Monday, so the kiddos will need to bundle up on their way to school,” Marit said.

Monday: High pressure will stay in control. A few afternoon clouds develop and it will be breezy at times. Highs will be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

“The breezy conditions will allow the pollen count to be higher than it has been recently,” Marit said.

Tuesday: It will be partly cloudy and a few degrees warmer with highs in the low 60s.

Wednesday: Expect some sun early, then clouds increase through the afternoon and we become breezy. Highs will return to average, in the upper-60s.

Thursday: Morning clouds will give way to more sun in the afternoon. Winds take on a more northerly direction allowing temperatures to stay a few degress cooler. Highs will be in the mid-60s.

Friday: Conditions will be mostly sunny and breezy at times.

“It’ll be a pleasant end to the work week with highs in the mid to upper 60s,” Marit said.
