DAYTON —

Six people were taken to area hospitals in two separate crashes involving RTA buses in Dayton today.

Around 12:30 p.m., a RTA bus fishtailed and crashed into a pole at the intersection of Randolph Street and Lakeview Avenue. Four people on the bus were taken to area hospitals with injuries not considered life-threatening.

About an hour earlier, a RTA bus made an improper turn at the intersection of Webster and Monument streets and clipped a car. A pregnant woman and her child fell out of their seat and were taken to a local hospital.
