LOOK: Dramatic differences in snowfall totals

The snowfall totals across the southern Miami Valley and southeastern Ohio were dramatically different.

Parts of Warren and Clinton counties say 4 inches, according to StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

Just 69 miles to the southeast near Portsmouth, Ohio, snowfall measured nearly 15 inches—that’s a dramatic 11-inch difference over a short distance.

The snowfall totals were recorded by the National Weather Service, March 4-5, 2015.

ADAMS COUNTY:

Manchester — 10.5 inches

Rome — 13.8 inches

BUTLER COUNTY:

Monroe — 2.8 inches

Middletown — 1.5 inches

GREENE COUNTY:

Xenia — 1.8 inches

Bellbrook — 1.3 inches

MONTGOMERY COUNTY:

Kettering — 1.2 inches

Dayton Airport — .5 inches

ROSS COUNTY:

Chillicothe — 8.8 inches

SCIOTO COUNTY:

East Wheelersburg — 14.5 inches

Portsmouth — 12 inches
