Kitten left at busy intersection in good health

A kitten found abandoned at a busy intersection this morning is in good health and ready to be adopted.

A good Samaritan picked up the kitten at Ohio 571 and Interstate 75 in Tipp City just after 7 a.m.

Several other kittens were being picked up by other passersby at the same time, he said.

He said he is allergic to cats so he brought it to My Favorite Pet in Vandalia.

The animal is a female and is 6 weeks old, according to David Green, hospital manager.

“It’s disconcerting that someone would abandon any animal on the interstate when there are rescues throughout the area that would be a good place to take an animal,” Green said.
