GOP candidate forum set for 42nd House district

WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County —

A forum is scheduled for Wednesday night for candidates seeking to represent the Republican Party on the fall ballot for the Ohio House of Representatives 42nd District seat.

The Conservative Republican Leadership Committee is hosting the 7 p.m. forum at the Washington Twp. Recreation Center for candidates interested in replacing former state Rep. Terry Blair, who died last month.

Niraj Antani, Mark Crawford, Scott Paulson and Tom Young have expressed interest in replacing Blair on the ballot. Republicans are set to vote Thursday night on which candidate will appear on the ballot for the GOP.

The district includes Germantown, German Twp., Miamisburg, Miami Twp., Moraine, Washington Twp. and West Carrollton.
