Glass from front door hit by BB cuts child, 11

An 11-year-old suffered facial cuts inflicted by flying glass when a 15-year-old fired a BB gun from across the street that broke glass in the front door of a home in the 200 block of Pointview Avenue.

Police and medic unit were dispatched just before 10 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

They arrived to find the younger child had only a few cuts from the glass. He was treated at the scene and released, police said.
