Injuries minor in Dayton Xenia Road crash

UPDATE @ 5:55 p.m.:

A head-on crash this afternoon that temporarily shut down Dayton Xenia Road led to only minor injuries.

Police and medics cleared the scene around 5:15 p.m.

Two people were taken to a local hospital suffering from injuries reported as minor, according to Beavercreek police.

Tow trucks had to take two cars from the scene, which appeared to sustain significant damage in the crash.

FIRST REPORT

A report of a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon has blocked Dayton Xenia Road at North Fairfield Road.

Police and medics were called shortly before 4:30 p.m. to the crash.

At least three medics were requested, according to initial reports.

Beavercreek police dispatchers confirmed Dayton Xenia Road was closed, but did not have information about the seriousness of injuries suffered in the crash.
