Car ‘almost all the way in’ apartment

One couple in a senior citizens apartment complex was not hurt today, despite a car crashing through an apartment wall in the 1200 block of South Plum Street.

The vehicle, seen almost all the way in, hit the building around 2 p.m.

The driver was treated at the scene. The complex management is working to find another place for the couple to stay. The caller to our newsroom said, “it was a miracle they weren’t hurt.”

No word at this time whether the driver will be charged.
