5 hurt in crash on I-70

Five people, including four children, were sent to Miami Valley Hospital after the driver of a van crashed into the guardrail on Interstate 70 in Huber Heights.

The ages of the children have not been released at this time.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes at the 30 mile marker just after 2 a.m.

The left lane of eastbound I-70 was closed for about 40 minutes while crews cleaned up the scene, according to the Ohio State Patrol Dayton post.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
