26 people arrested in drug trafficking investigation

Twenty-six people have been arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in southeast Ohio, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today.

Warrants have been issued for an additional 17 people.

The 26 individuals arrested face a combined 51 charges in Meigs and Gallia counties. The investigation involves trafficking and/or possession of several drugs including heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, LSD, and several types of prescription drugs, according to the release.
