A former Dayton man is being held without bond in a Texas jail accused of federal drug charges.

Stanley B. Williams, 41, has been in the Dallas County Jail since his Oct. 29 arrest, jail officials said Tuesday.
Jail records show Williams is being charged with intent to distribute more than a kilogram of drugs - heroin, according to the Dallas Morning News website.

Officials are holding Williams until the U.S. Marshals Service transfers him, said Carmen Castro of the Dallas County Jail.
Jail records show a Charlotte, N.C. address for Williams. In 2006 his address in Dayton was in the 1300 block of Kumler, according to Dayton Municiapl Court records.
