Power restored after strong storm in Bellbrook

Dozens of people in Bellbrook went approximately 24 hours without power after strong thunderstorms pounded the region on Friday.

Multiple trees fell onto wires and equipment on a utility pole on or near Marie Court.

A Dayton Power and Light spokesperson said crews worked Saturday to do an extensive tree removal and made the repairs.

Power was restored to most by 4 p.m.

Residents there said they had been without power since mid Friday afternoon.
